Aleksandra gave a keynote lecture at the 68th International Symposium ELMAR 2026 (https://www.elmar-zadar.org/2026/), held in Zadar, Croatia, 21-23 September 2026.
In her keynote lecture, “Model-Aware Deep Learning for Multimodal and Hyperspectral Imaging,” she presented recent research on integrating model-based approaches with deep learning for advanced image analysis and reconstruction.
ELMAR is a long-standing international conference bringing together researchers in signal and image processing, computer vision, communications, and related fields.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity for scientific exchange, stimulating discussions, and strengthening international research connections.
It was also a wonderful reunion with colleagues and former PhD students from Croatia! Photos with Prof. Irena Galić and Dr. Marija Habijan from the University of Osijek and Prof. Sonja Grgić from FER Zagreb.
